Overview

The English Department offers minors in Creative Writing, Professional Writing, Literary and Cultural Studies, and English Language Arts (that last one is only for students who are majoring in a teacher certification program in another major and wish to also be eligible for an endorsement in English).

If you love language, books, and words but have a different major, minoring in English will allow you to demonstrate enhanced communication skills, as well as to excel by studying what you love.
