EMC Piano Camp

EMC Piano Camp is an exhilarating week of making music while making friends, is open to students completing the 5th through 12th grades. Each day will be full of interesting classes, solo and group rehearsals, and fun evening activities. Participants will be pushed to reach their potential by learning an entirely new solo piece and an ensemble piece, both to be performed in a group recital at the end of the week. One-on-one coaching with EMC's piano faculty will ensure rapid improvement and new insights. Class topics include piano technique, efficient practice methods, music history, famous pianists, and instrument maintenance.

 

Auditions

Campers should bring a recent piano solo to play on Sunday afternoon after registration for the piano faculty. This hearing will be used to assign appropriate level chamber music for the week.
